What is Crescent?
Crescent is a DeFi Hub, reborn from Gravity DEX (Liquidity module for Emeris). The Crescent team spun-off from B-Harvest in collaboration with Ignite with a goal to provide a differentiated DeFi Hub for Cosmos, beginning with a proposal to migrate Gravity DEX protocol to a separate blockchain. Crescent will provide three core functionalities: Crescent DEX / Crescent Boost / Crescent Derivatives.

Staking Crescent is the process of earning rewards by holding and locking CRE tokens in a wallet as collateral to support the security and performance of the network.

How is the Crescent staking rewards received?
Once you liquid-stake your CRE, you will get bCRE according to the mint rate. During liquid staking period, the staking rewards are added to the liquid staking module. When you liquid-unstake your bCRE after some time, you will get CRE which will be larger amount than what you originally liquid staked.
