The Cosmos Hub can enhance our appchain’s security through its Interchain Security feature, a distinct capability within the Cosmos ecosystem. This feature allows a parent chain, like the Cosmos Hub, to secure child chains like Lorenzo. It is facilitated by enabling the validators of the parent chain to also validate and secure transactions on the child chains. Through Interchain Security, appchain can achieve a high level of security without the need to attract its own validators, since compromising our security would also require breaching the Cosmos Hub’s security.

The Inter-Blockchain Communication Protocol (IBC) is a crucial aspect of the Cosmos ecosystem, enabling secure communication and asset transfer between different blockchains, thus mitigating the risk of isolated attacks on Lorenzo chain.

Artemis Integrates Injective To Provide Institutional On-Chain Data to Users

Dencun, an amalgamation of two separate upgrades — Deneb and Cancun — tackles both Ethereum’s consensus and execution layers in a single upgrade. 

The objective of the Deneb upgrade is to augment the consensus layer, which deals with how network participants agree on the state of the blockchain. Cancun, on the other hand, improves the way transactions are managed and processed on the execution layer. The Dencun upgrade came nearly a year after the Shanghai upgrade in April 2023, which enabled Ether holders to unstake ETH, which was locked into the network.

Dencun was a series of nine different Ethereum Improvement Proposals, or EIPs. The most important was EIP-4844, which dramatically cuts the cost of transacting on layer 2 networks.

EIP-4844 introduced “blobs,” which are a unique transaction format that segregates layer 2 network transactions from standard network activity on the Ethereum mainnet, reducing congestion and transaction fees.

Injective is officially collaborating with AltLayer to create the first ever restaking security framework for on-chain inEVM applications. Restaking based security aims to bring Ethereum security to inEVM and thereby applications built on inEVM.

This is achieved via AltLayer’s MACH framework via which a network of nodes is set up to perform state validation  for the inEVM stack. Upon any detection of an invalid state, a governance proposal will be initiated on-chain to react to the invalid state. If the proposal is approved, MACH's circuit breaker mechanism will automatically halt inEVM's RPC service, protecting users from further malicious operations and enabling them to initiate the process of recalling the transaction altogether.

By doing so, inEVM can leverage the security of not only Injective but also Ethereum as a whole, bringing the security of over $400 Billion to inEVM.

Injective announces its integration with Noble, the native issuer of USDC within the IBC ecosystem. This collaboration brings native USDC to Injective, unlocking Injective to the world’s most trusted stablecoin, and allowing USDC to be utilized by Injective’s massively growing network in return. 

Noble is an appchain purpose-built for the native issuance of digital assets within the larger IBC ecosystem. Assets that integrate with Noble are able to tap into the 30+ IBC networks that are connected to Noble, allowing assets to seamlessly flow between dozens of blockchain applications.

Ethena will allow Injective users to receive shards for holding USDe in their Injective wallets. The Ethena integration is made possible with Injective’s implementation of Ethereum standard EIP712, allowing Ethereum wallets, such as MetaMask, to seamlessly connect to the Injective network and generate an Injective wallet address that is automatically linked to an Ethereum wallet address. 

Ethena will leverage this integration to query the Injective network for these Ethereum addresses that hold USDe, and grant shards to these users on the Ethena dApp.
